Just what sort of pickle have we got ourselves into developing ever more toxic chemicals as nature’s increasing resistance thwarts each successive formulation we try?
Pests, bugs, fungal and bacterial infections and weeds. Any grower will tell you how God damn annoying these are, myself included. Particularly for farmers whose income depends on a pest/disease free crop to earn enough to feed their immediate family, or for an entire community who depend on a successful harvest to just keep them all fed throughout the year and avoid starvation. Basically whatever your motivation for growing, I’m sure we can all agree that we would rather be able to produce a thriving crop without these little Buzz Killingtons coming along and spoiling the party.
